The Degree of Qatari High School Islamic Education Supervisors' Practices of Educational Supervision Domains from Teachers' Point of View
Abstract
This study aimed at identifying ·the degree of Qatari high school Islamic education supervisors' practices of educational supervision domains from teachers' perceptions, and the impact of their gender, scientific qualification and experience. The sample of the study was the whole population that consisted of all the male and female teachers of the Islamic Education in the public high schools for the scholastic year 2005-2006. They accounted (169) teachers. Researchers developed a questionnaire of (65) items distributed on seven domains, its validity and reliability were ensured, reliability coefficient was (0.96). The study revealed the following results: The degree of supervisors' practices of educational supervision domains from teachers' perception was generally moderate. - There were statistically significant differences the degree of supervisors' practices of educational supervision domains attributed to gender in the favor of males in all domains except domains of teaching performance and teachers' professional development. - There were no statistically significant differences attributed to scientific qualifications and experience in any of the study domains.
