      Bio: Prof. Hissa Sadiq: the former Dean of the College of Education at Qatar University. She received several research grants from Qatar University and Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) and published scientific research papers in the fields of educational leadership, education reform, and professional development of educators. She participated in numerous conferences, seminars, and workshops on the development of education, and in 2015, she received the Endorsement State Award in the field of education from the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Heritage for her various contributions in the education fields. Dr. Hissa received her Bachelor of Science and Education degree from the Qatar University, and her Master’s and PhD in educational leadership from Ain Shams University.

    1. Prof. Ayad Taama, Professor of Art Education, Qatar University– State of Qatar

      Bio: Prof. Ayad Taama: a Professor at the Department Art Education, College of Education, Qatar University. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Art Education, Motion Design and Animation for Film Industry from the Institute of TECHNIFUTUR – Belgium. His research interests are around developing future teachers, shaping aesthetic structures and artistic cultures, developing aesthetic values and the application of modern educational theories in teaching drawing and design arts. Dr. Ayad supervised many masters and doctoral theses, participated in many scientific conferences and art festivals, and held many art exhibitions in Europe. He teaches the basics of design, drawing art, the art of photography (and coloring) and three-dimensional drawings methods.

    2. Prof. Fathi Ihmeideh, Professor of Early Childhood Education, The Hashemite University, Jordan

      Bio: Prof. Fathi Ihmeideh: a Professor of Early Childhood Education in Queen Rania Faculty for Childhood at the Hashemite University in Jordan. His primary research areas focus on early literacy development, early childhood technology, parental involvement, and early childhood education in the Arab Gulf region. Fathi Ihmeideh has over 15 years of experience in university teaching, training, developing early childhood curricula, preparing and evaluating childhood teacher education programs, assessing educational awards, and consultations. Prof Ihmeideh has contributed to over 60 peer-reviewed publications and he is an active editorial member in many international journals. He previously worked in Oman and Qatar and was involved in leading research projects in the field of early childhood education. Fathi won Abdual Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers as well as other research awards for his outstanding research achievement.

    3. Prof. Mohamed Taha, Professor of Psychology, Qatar University– State of Qatar

      Bio: Prof. Mohamed Taha Mohamed: a professor of Psychology, College of Education at Qatar University. He got his B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from Ain Shams University in Cairo, and M.Sc. degree in Cognitive Psychology, M.A. in Linguistics, and Ph.D. in Cognition and Psycholinguistics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, US. He published in Arabic and English speaking, peer-reviewed journals and presented his work in national, regional, and international conferences. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, (2013/2014) and an Alexander von Humboldt fellow at the Ludwig Maximillian University in Munich, Germany (2016-2018). While serving as the head of Psychology Department (2018-2020), and Vice Dean of Faculty of Arts and Humanities (2020-2022) at the British University in Egypt (BUE), he established the Psychological Service Centre and the Cognitive Science Research Centre. His research interests includes Cognitive Psychology and its applications in education, intelligence, and cognitive science. In 2011, Mohamed got the Egyptian State Early Career Award in Psychology.

    4. Prof. Magda Mohamed Salah El-Din El-Shazly, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Faculty Members Club of Alexandria University

      Bio: Prof. Magda Mohamed Salah El-Din El-Shazly, is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Faculty Members Club of Alexandria University, Representative of the Alexandria Branch of the National Council for Women, former dean of the Faculty of Physical Education for Girls - Alexandria University, Egypt.

      She is the Head of the Women’s and Girls’ Sports Sector at the International Council for Health, Physical Education, recreation, sports, and dance (ICHPER.SD).

      Dr. Magda received several awards, such as the Administrative Excellence Award, Alexandria University and the Scientific Award for Research, Alexandria University as well as the Model Teacher Award at the National level in addition to her membership in many scientific committees.

    5. Prof. Saleh Mohammad Rawadieh, Professor of Education/ Social Studies, Qatar University– State of Qatar

      Bio: Prof. Saleh Mohammad Rawadieh: a Jordanian educator, received a BA in History from Yarmouk University (1987), a Master’s degree from the University of Jordan (1990), and a Ph.D. in Education/ Social Studies from Ohio University in the United States of America (1998). He was promoted to Professor in (2011). He worked as a professor in a number of Arab universities after obtaining his doctorate: Mutah University (Jordan), Nizwa University (Sultanate of Oman), Al Baha University (Saudi Arabia), the University of Jordan and finally Qatar University. He held many administrative and academic positions in these universities, the last of which was Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan (2016-2019). Dr. Rawadieh has authored a number of books in the educational field, and has conducted more than forty research papers, most of which were in the areas of teaching social studies, curriculum analysis, and the uses of technology in the educational process. He also participated in many local, regional and international specialized international seminars and conferences. In addition to his active contributions to the membership of many councils and committees at the national and regional levels, on top of which is participation in the membership of a number of boards of trustees of Jordanian universities. Dr. Rawadieh also had a large presence in the planning and development of school curriculum in Jordan, especially the social studies curriculum, during the two periods (1990-1994) and (2012-2017).

    6. Prof. Sulaiman Mohammed Al-Balushi, Professor of Science Education, Sultan Qaboos University - Sultanate of Oman

      Bio: Prof. Sulaiman Al-Balushi: a Professor of Science Education, Quality Assurance Director, and the former Dean of the College of Education and Professor of science education at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Oman (2014-2020). He was a visiting scholar at the University of Exeter (2020-2021). He is also a member of the Board of the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA) and a member of different journal advisory and editorial boards. He was awarded the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers 2019. He has been also awarded different national and international awards in university teaching, research and reviewing research. Professor Al-Balushi contributed largely to leading the SQU College of Education to attain the international academic accreditation by NCATE in the USA in 2016. He is also a reviewer for the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA). He got his doctoral degree from the University of Iowa in the USA. He has published several research papers in local, regional and international refereed academic journals. He has been serving as principal investigator for different research grants. He also co-authored different books, textbooks, training books and book chapters. Professor Al-Balushi has participated in several international conferences around the globe. He was Oman’s Representative/Delegate of Social and Humanity Sciences Committee Session in the 39th Session of the General Conference of UNESCO, Paris. His research interests focus on teacher preparation and training, science learners’ cognitive abilities, and the utilization of technology in teaching and research. He has reviewed different research manuscripts, book chapters, grant proposals and promotion applications

    7. Dr. Hadeel Alkhateeb, Associate Professor of Language Policy and Language Planning, Qatar University – State of Qatar

      Bio: Dr. Hadeel Alkhateeb: an Associate Professor of Language Policy and Language Planning at the College of Education at Qatar University where she has been a faculty member since 2009. Hadeel completed her Ph.D. at the University College of London. She was a research fellow in the Centre for Internationalisation and Parallel Language Use (CIP) at Copenhagen University and in the Center for International and Regional Studies at Georgetown University-Qatar, in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Her research interests include: language in education policies, reading and writing across curriculum, educational policy in Arab higher education, linguistic imperialism, and Q-methodology.
