Abstract
This study aims to identify aspects of congruence and differences about the constitutional status of the Crown Prince in the Jordanian constitutional system through a comparative study with the Kuwaiti and the Qatari constitutions. The constitutional Provision in the Qatari and Kuwaiti constitutional systems strengthened the constitutional status of the Crown Prince as a future head of state, both in terms of the constitutional manner of appointment and competences the Crown Prince exercises, unlike the Jordanian constitutional, which did not stipulate those provisions expect for the Kings authority to appoint him.
The study concluded with a number of findings and recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity to enhance the constitutional states of the Crown Prince in the Jordanian constitutional system through a constitutional amendment to article 28 of the constitutional competences that can be practiced.
