الملخص
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع برنامج تهيئة المعلمين الجدد في المدارس الحكومية في دولة قطر، كما استهدفت التوصل إلى صيغة مقترحة لتطوير البرنامج الحالي في ضوء تحليله وفقا للإطار المفاهيمي الذي طوره كل من Stansbury وZimmerman عام 2000. ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف اعتُمد على تحليل الوثائق المنشورة حول الأنشطة والاستراتيجيات المستخدمة في برنامج التهيئة، كما أجرِيت مقابلات شبه مقننة مع عدد من مديري المدارس، والنواب الأكاديميين، ومنسقي المواد التعليمية؛ وذلك لدعم البيانات التي وردت في الوثائق، والحصول على تفاصيل إضافية حول آليات تنفيذ الأنشطة والاستراتيجيات ومضمونها. أظهرت النتائج أن معظم الأنشطة المستخدمة حاليا تقع ضمن الأنشطة منخفضه الكثافة وفق تصنيف Stansbury وZimmerman؛ لذلك أوصت الدراسة بإضافة مجموعة أخرى من الأنشطة عالية الكثافة التي قد تسهم في استمرار المعلمين الجدد في المهنة وتنمية وتطوير الأداء المهني والوظيفي.
