The Dilemmas of Islamic Financial Institutions as a Result of a Lack of Liquidity, and the Suggested Methods for A Solution.
Abstract
The international financial crisis has shown that some Islamic financial institutions suffer from the lack of fluidity, which brought about their failure to repay of their debts. They are neither insolvent nor bankrupt companies, but rather they need some time to find a remedy for the crisis. To achiev~ this aim, I have put forward some suggestions which may handle the lack of fluidity in the light of the attitudes of the Islamic jurists so as to prove that Islamic fiqh Uurisprudence) can find a remedy for such emerging mammoth crises. Moreover, crises may constitute a platform for acquiring an ability to locate points of weakness in a company and how to avoid them o manage to find solutions.
