Iqbal bin Abdul Rahman Ibdah

Abstract

The research highlights and investigates all areas of consensus among interpreters mentioned by Al-Imam Al-Wahidi in his albaseet interpretation. Moreover, it aims at highlighting the dissensus areas in proportion with the total corpus of interpretation which amounts to twenty-five areas in eighteen suras of the sixty-six consensuses which he has mentioned. In addition, the research alerts the interpreters who have been influenced by him. The researcher concludes that Al-Wahidi has, in fact, disparaged the issue of consensus and its transmission when he regards the sayings of all exegests as consensus in its of its own right.
