Abstract
This study attempted to investigate the impact of Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) on gifted students' mastery of recitation and hemorisation. The study sample consisted of 115 gifted students (65 males and 50 females) from a Jordanian school for the gifted and talented in Amman Educational District. It was hypothesised that CAL would enhance students' mastery of recitation and hemorisation. The study findings extend previous research by indicating that CAL can enhance recitation and hemorisation, and gifted students viewed CAL as a powerful educational tools and that they valued the computerised opportunities offered during this experiment. Results showed that there were no significant differences in recitation and hemorisation between males and females.
