Abstract
Diplomatic work is considered as the first mechanism of international action and its activation tools to achieve stability in the international system and relations. Therefore, it represents a fundamental obligation that all states must fulfill in order to prevail friendly relations, tolerance, and fraternity. The last Gulf crisis in June 5, 2017 is a model of what threatens international stability and security. This requires seeking diplomatic efforts to work according to the requirements of international cooperation in order to avoid the negative effects of this crisis that threatens stability in the region and the world. In order to clarify the role of diplomacy in the Gulf crisis and explain its activation requirements, this study includes an analysis of the concepts of diplomacy and international crisis and the ways to face the latter. It also clarifies the principles and foundations of international diplomatic cooperation and the role of the diplomatic means to face the crisis in the Gulf. The study concludes that diplomacy and its internationally known various means are the best way to deal with the crisis in the light of substantive regulations and standards approved by the international legislations and practices. In addition, the parties of the crisis should adopt the diplomatic means to end the crisis and find acceptable and fair solutions to the legal problems and disputes resulting from it.
