Abstract
This paper aims to address the problem of partial approaches of the fields of philosophy of history and social sciences to the study of civilization, and the need for an integrative interdisciplinary approach. The study relies on the analytical method in tackling the subject matter. The paper concluded that there is an urgent need for an interdisciplinary approach in which the various scientific fields are integrated, to study civilization as a multidimensional phenomenon, and to cover all aspects of this phenomenon.
