Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate the extent to which the aims of physical education curriculum elementary school have been achieved in Saudi Arabia. Male professors of physical education (N=53) from Saudi universities, teachers (N=188) and supervisors (N=49) from the Ministry of Saudi Education had been chosen randomly. Validity and reliability for the questionnaire have displayed significant results. ANOVA With Repeated Measures (3X3X6) and Post Hoc Comparisons of Means using Scheffes* Test have been applied. ANOVA revealed significant differences between the three groups in achieving the physical education programs. There were significant differences between the professors, teachers and supervisors in favor teachers. There were also significant differences between the professors and supervisors because of experience. Finally, some investigation regarding the education programs, teaching methods and the aims of physical education programs for middle and high schools education have been employed.
