Aesthetics of Weaving Formation in Modern Art Abstract
Abstract
This study aimed at utilizing the stages of textile development in modern artistic trends to creat new empirical approaches for teaching manaul weaving to Art Education students. This was done through sheeding light on the development of the modern textile form and the aesthtics of the shaped forms beside the art values that were interoduced in the weaving work in the second half of the twentieth century. Those developments led the empirical artist trials to change the shape and concept of modern textile work . The research presented the most important stages of textile shape developments. It started with imitating the photographic works using light , shade, linear and geomatric perspectives. Then, the interest shifted to the scientific studies of technologies and textile materials the cause internal correlation between art systems and the scientific development of material and technique. Textileworks were characteriz 'h immensity and creativity that simulated huge castle- .ses despite material softness. .ome textile works were corporeal shaped, free from .rnerts tu allow for •more varied art values expression such as; • vacuum, motion and light effects on huge formations. Modem textile works represent the result of deep thinking that would help in creating works that freely express the use of modern techniques in designing the textile forms.
