الملخص
طرح فلاسفة الأخلاق سؤالًا عمّا إذا كانت القيم الأخلاقية المعيارية قادرة على حل المعضلات الأخلاقية التي تنشأ عن التطورات المتسارعة في مجال العلوم وتطبيقاتها التكنولوجية، وتَحكّم الشركات متعددة الجنسيات في المعرفة المُنتَجة وسبل تطبيقها، الأمر الذي نتجت عنه تحديات أخلاقية فرضتها تلك التطورات على حياتنا الواقعية المعيشة من جهة، والمهنية من الجهة الأخرى، أم تعجز وحدها عن الوفاء بهذه المهمة؟ وقد شهدت العقود القليلة الماضية اهتمامًا بتجسير الفجوة بين الأخلاق المعيارية الصورية المجردة والأخلاق المطبّقة بوصفها منهجية إرشادية – أو برنامج بحث إرشادي – تستجيب لأشكال الظلم، من انتهاكات وتجاوزات في مجال المهن، سيما الرعاية الصحية، والحقوق، والأعمال. لقد نشأت معضلات أخلاقية خطيرة، في هذا الشأن، دفعت باحثي الأخلاق المعاصرين، إلى البحث عن "منهجية" إرشادية عابرة للتخصصات، قادرة على التعامل مع المعضلات الأخلاقية التي تواجه المهنيين، وقادرة على تجسير الفجوة المعرفية بين المعياري والتطبيقي الواقعي.
تفترض هذه الورقة أن القضايا الأخلاقية والتساؤلات المثارة في قضايا المهن الملحة التي تواجه العلاقة بين المهنيين والعملاء (متلقي خدمة المهنيين) تتطلب منهجية بحثية إرشادية عابرة للتخصصات الضيقة، بل عابرة للقواعد واللوائح والقوانين المهنية المحدودة. تعتمد تلك المنهجية على "الأخلاق المطبّقة" التي تجمع الافكار المتباينة لتقدِّم بها رؤىً جديدة وتأويلات وابتكارات ثرية، توطِّد العلاقة بين المعارف النظريَّة التي ينتجها العقل الاخلاقي المعياري، وبين المجتمع والقيم والممارسات المهنية.
