In light of the growing economic challenges at both individual and societal levels and their intersection with numerous social and human phenomena, integrating economics with other sciences has become essential for comprehending the essence of many intertwined phenomena. As "Tajseer" Journal is dedicated to exploring the integration and bridging of various fields of study, this special issue focuses on interdisciplinary research that examines the intersections between economics and other disciplines.

Why a Special Issue on the Integration of Economics with other Sciences?

The concept of interdisciplinary studies has recently garnered significant attention from researchers across various fields of knowledge due to its effectiveness in understanding complex, multi-dimensional phenomena that transcend the boundaries of a single discipline. Economics, as a crucial social science, has gained prominence for providing analytical tools and theories that delve into many cross-disciplinary phenomena and concepts related to human well-being and sustainable development. This special issue aims to spotlight the cross-cutting relationships between economics and other sciences, whether at the methodological, theoretical, or practical levels.

We invite researchers and scholars from all fields of social and human sciences worldwide to contribute to this issue with interdisciplinary research on economics and its intersections with other sciences. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Economics and Social Sciences and Humanities: (Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, Philosophy, etc).
  • Social Economy and Sustainable Development: (Social and economic justice in sustainability policies, the impact of education and health on sustainable economic development).
  • Economics and Dimensions of Sustainable Development: (Environment, renewable energy, water resources, education, health, regional integration, issues of development, poverty, and inequality, etc).
  • Economics and Sustainable Engineering: (Development of sustainable technologies and their role in the economy, assessing the environmental impact of modern technology on economic growth, etc).
  • Economics and Technology: (The role of technological innovation in achieving economic sustainability, analysis of internet economies, and the role of artificial intelligence in achieving sustainability goals, etc).

Objectives of the Special Issue:

Enhancing Comprehensive Understanding: Providing a platform for discussing how economics interacts with various sciences to achieve sustainability goals.

Highlighting Applied Research: Showcasing case studies and successful models of economic integration with other sciences in the context of sustainability.

Encouraging Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Motivating researchers from different fields to collaborate in finding sustainable solutions to economic, environmental, and social problems.

Submission Guidelines:

 

  • Abstract Format: Abstracts should be between 200-300 words.
  • Full Paper Format: Full papers should be between 6,000-10,000 words and must adhere to the Author Guidelines.
