Publishing Ethics and Conflicting Interests

  • Ansaq journal is committed to applying the standards issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Ansaq journal actively checks all articles on Ithenticate software for plagiarism, before the peer review stage.

  • All potential conflicts of interest must be mentioned. Any personal or financial relationship with an individual or an organization which may influence your interpretation of the results should be disclosed.

  • The researcher should rely in his/her research on scientific data obtained based on scientific research methods, and the provision of the required ethical approvals from the concerned authorities.

  • The researcher should make reference to all quotes and citations from their sources from various scientific research papers, including his/her own previously published research.

  • The research or submission should not be in conflict with any rights of others.

  • The researcher bears full responsibility for any violation of scientific research ethics and standards.

  • In case the editorial committee discovers plagiarism from various sources or from the other author’s own research or previously published work, or in the event of lack of integrity, the editorial committee reserves the right to withdraw the publication according to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) procedures, referring to Qatar University Press policy.

  • Ansaq publishes articles free of charge, it does not accept nor ask authors for any monetary contribution toward their publication.

  • The members of Ansaq’s editorial committee including its E-i-C are not entitled to publish in the journal, whether in the regular issues, special issues or conference proceedings.
