Ansaq in Arts and Humanities is a peer-reviewed, semi-annual regional academic journal issued by the College of Arts and Sciences at Qatar University and published Qatar University Press. The journal is dedicated to publishing original scientific research in humanities, social sciences, and literature, as well as all interdisciplinary fields related to society and human beings. This includes linguistic and literary studies, critical analysis, media and translation studies, cultural studies, visual arts and music, historical and anthropological studies. The journal accepts submissions in Arabic, English, and French languages. The journal embraces cultural diversity, establishing itself as an intellectual and knowledge production hub for the Middle East region.
We would like to inform authors that Ansaq Journal is no longer accepting new submissions as of 26 May 2025. However, all previously published content remains accessible for reference and citation.
Ansaq has recently joined the "e-Marefa" database after achieving the criteria for accrediting the impact factor and reference citations "Arcif," which is compatible with international standards, amounting to (32) standards. The journal was classified in the field of Arts as (Q2), in media and communication as (Q3), and in humanities (interdisciplinary) as (Q3).
