As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The research must be original and not published previously, in part or in full, and should not be submitted for publication elsewhere.
The research must be original and offer a valid scientific contribution in its respective field. All research submissions are screened through iThenticate plagiarism software.
The research shall be based on recent data and scholarly resources that foster the specialization’s research developments.
The researcher shall comply with the intellectual property, research integrity, scientific honesty, principles and ethics of scientific research.
The research must adhere to the research methods applied in the engineering field.
The research paper must follow the linguistic guidelines of the specialization, in terms of clarity of writing, language and expression, as well as value, novelty and diversity of scientific references.
The author undertakes to perform the required amendments provided by peer-reviewers, in line with the journal’s peer review process, mentioned on the website.

Submission Steps
Step 1: Abstract Submission:
Abstracts should be limited to 250 words and have a clear description of the paper's contents.
Step 2: Manuscript Submission:
After receipt of the abstract acceptance notification, authors submitted their manuscript following the paper template of the conference.
All contributions must be original and should not have been published or simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere.
Intellectual property rights, integrity, scientific honesty, and research methods should be strictly followed and implemented.
Types of manuscripts:
Two types of manuscripts are published in the conference proceedings:
Short papers: 4-5 pages including references (Industry oriented)
Full papers: 6-8 pages including references
Papers were prepared in English and carefully checked for correct grammar.
Peer-review:
All papers were reviewed by the Editorial Committee and submitted to anonymous external peer reviewers in the field. Once the reviewing process was complete, the corresponding author of each paper was notified by email of the reviewers’ comments.
The authors were then required to respond to the reviewers’ comments and reflect the changes in the revised paper for final submission and acceptance decision.
Author Declaration Form
Authors were required to sign an author declaration and consent form to publish the paper with Qatar University Press.
Presentation
Each accepted paper was presented by one of the authors at the conference.
Registration
At least one author was registered for the conference and paid the fees before the regular registration deadline for the paper to be accepted in the final program and published in the conference proceedings.
