Open Access Publishing

In alignment with the vision of Qatar University (QU) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) to promote the open exchange of knowledge, evidence-based policymaking, and sustainable development, the Academic Network for Development Dialogue (ANDD) Paper Series adopts a Diamond Open Access (OA) publishing model.

The open dissemination of research is a fundamental component of scholarly communication and contributes to informed decision-making, policy development, and knowledge sharing across the Arab region and beyond. Accordingly, the ANDD Paper Series provides immediate and unrestricted access to all published content, ensuring that articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription or access fees.

The ANDD Paper Series does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, publication fees, or other author fees at any stage of the publication process. Authors are invited to submit and publish their research free of charge, provided that manuscripts meet the journal's quality standards and successfully complete the editorial and peer-review process.

All articles published in the ANDD Paper Series are freely accessible and may be read, downloaded, shared, distributed, and used for non-commercial scholarly, educational, and research purposes in accordance with the journal's licensing terms, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the original author(s) and source.

By removing financial barriers for both authors and readers, the ANDD Paper Series seeks to maximize the visibility, accessibility, and impact of high-quality research on development challenges and opportunities. The journal aims to foster rigorous scholarly dialogue, support evidence-based policymaking, and contribute to sustainable development outcomes at the national, regional, and international levels.
