The Academic Network for Development Dialogue (ANDD) Paper Series is committed to promoting transparency, research integrity, and reproducibility in scholarly research. Authors are therefore encouraged, where appropriate and feasible, to make the data, materials, and documentation underlying their research available to other researchers upon reasonable request.
Research data may include, but are not limited to, survey data, interview transcripts, observational records, datasets, methodological documentation, coding frameworks, analytical procedures, policy databases, and other materials used in the research process. The sharing of such materials facilitates the verification of findings, supports future research, and contributes to the advancement of knowledge and evidence-based policymaking.
Authors may share research data provided that doing so does not violate ethical standards, confidentiality obligations, intellectual property rights, institutional requirements, the protection of human participants, or applicable privacy and data protection regulations. Where sensitive or confidential information is involved, authors are encouraged to share anonymized, aggregated, or appropriately redacted datasets whenever possible.
Authors remain solely responsible for the accuracy, integrity, reliability, and legality of any data associated with their research. Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in shared datasets remain the responsibility of the authors.
Researchers requesting access to data are expected to use the materials responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with applicable laws, institutional requirements, and the journal's policies. Any data shared in connection with articles published in the ANDD Paper Series should be properly acknowledged and cited.
Reuse of shared data in subsequent research or publications is permitted provided that:
Through responsible data sharing and transparent research practices, the ANDD Paper Series seeks to foster collaboration, strengthen research quality and reproducibility, and support the generation of evidence-based knowledge for sustainable development and public policy.
