Editorial

Glory be to You God, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us. Verily, it is you, the All-Knower, the All-Wise. We praise you for facilitating the publishing of the first issue of the forty-first volume for the year 2023. This issue includes a collection of invaluable articles on Sharia and Islamic studies produced by a group of researchers from different countries around the world: the USA, Italy, Pakistan, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Turkey. The titles of these articles are as follows:

1- The claims of consensus on “what Allah swore by” where he said ﴾Verily, by your life... ﴿: A critical study

2- Characteristics and Applications of the Structured Finance Contract in Islamic Jurisprudence

3- Role of Devoted Endowment (Waqf Arasad) in the Development of Qatari Foreign Aid

4- The Islamic Prescriptive Discourse on Individual Differences

5- Endowment and Blockchain Technology: Investment and Finance from the Sharia Perspective

6- Sharia Ruling on Trading the Stock of Mixed Companies under the Stock Standard issued by the Shariah Board of the Participation Banks Association of Turkey

7- Islamic Banking: Past, Present and Future

We hope that our readers will benefit from these important articles and contribute to our journal with their own high-quality articles.

Praise be to God, Lord of the world.
